What is the Preliminary Consultation?

A.

The Preliminary Consultation is our first meeting before we start your
quit smoking program. It can be done face-to-face or over the phone
and It aims to assist you in the decision making process.
Had you decide to take the EasyQuit service we will coordinate your
personal workshop day and you will receive full instructions towards it.

During this time:

  • We will conduct an assessment of your specific addiction situation.
  • You will be introduced to the program’s details & rationality.
  • We will discuss any concern you might have.
  • You will decide what will be your next step.

What makes your method better than other methods?

A.

The problem with other methods or products is that they keep you in the dark about yourself and about the processes that happened to you while attempting to stop smoking. They ask you to quit without providing real tools to cope with the cravings and eliminate them. They keep you passive.

Using EasyQuit you will be fully active, you will learn to understand the addiction situation (which is the problem that you must solve). You will learn to understand what exactly is the “craving to smoke”, how your mind generate it and how to stop your mind from creating this feeling so you will not have to deal with it for the rest of your life.

Differently from other methods (including Cold Turkey), in which you stop smoking hopping that this time it will work and some how the cravings will disappear, EasyQuit will make you stop smoking knowing that it will work. You will not have to rely upon blind hope, instead you will have a clear conscious path to achieve full recovery.

I am worried that I will gain weight once I stop smoking

A.

No worry!

You actually have a good chance of loosing weight (if you are overweight).
It is a common myth that cigarettes helps to stay thin, however it is not true.
The only reason that some people gain weight after quitting is because they quit physically but not mentally. In simple words, they stop the physical act of smoking but they did not stop the mental activity of craving smoking. So they force themselves not to smoke and substitute their "hunger" to Nicotine with snacks and other fatty foods.
You will learn how to avoid this trap!

Will I still crave smoking after the workshop?

A.

The primary goal of the EasyQuit workshop is to teach you how to avoid self generation of cravings to smoke and how to immediately eliminate those feelings if they still occur. Some of my clients reports not having any craving to smoke by the end of the workshop and during the follow-up period. Others report a significant reduction in the volume and frequency of those feelings (in comparison to previous quitting attempts).

Where does the workshop take place?

A.

EasyQuit main clinic is based in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam.
Face-to-face workshops are also conducted in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala-Lumpur, Shanghai, Taipei and Phnom Penh.

If you wish to conduct your quit smoking workshop at your home city, we can discuss it during the preliminary consultation.

Would I have to change my lifestyle once I quit smoking?

A.

No!

You can continue your life as usual including meeting and associating with friends or co-workers who are smokers.

I am using other drug/s besides cigarettes, is it a problem?

A.

We will have to discuss it together in order to assess the situation. If needed I can present you different solutions for specific issues.
